Armstrong Sees Bitcoin Reaching $300K-$400K by 2030
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong thinks Bitcoin could reach $300,000 to $400,000 by 2030. This prediction is based on regulatory progress, institutional adoption, and Bitcoin's fixed supply.
To hit this target, Bitcoin would need a compound annual growth rate of 31.6% from current levels, which is slightly below its historical 33.6% rate. Armstrong pointed to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act as a potential catalyst for growth.
The legislation aims to define regulatory responsibilities between the SEC and CFTC, making it easier for banks and asset managers to enter the market. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have also changed how traditional investors access Bitcoin, allowing pension funds and wealth managers to hold Bitcoin exposure within regulated investment structures.
Bitcoin's hard cap of 21 million coins and each halving event cut new supply entering the market. If demand from ETFs and institutions continues to grow while available supply stays tight, prices could move sharply.
