Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has made another significant move in the cryptocurrency market by purchasing $1.2 million worth of ETHFI, the governance token of Ether.fi.

This purchase marks a shift in his trading pattern as he sold 265,461 ETHFI four months ago at a loss when the tokens were trading at $0.44 each, totaling about $118,000.

The move comes amid a broader recovery in the DeFi sector, where governance tokens like ETHFI have seen renewed interest, and Hayes's purchase could be interpreted as a signal of confidence in the protocol's long-term prospects.
