Atlantic HPC Group Secures $150M SPAC Merger with Aperture AC
A US-based company called Atlantic HPC Group has signed an agreement to merge with Aperture AC, a special purpose acquisition company listed on NASDAQ. The deal is worth $150 million and will take Atlantic public under the ticker 'AHPC'.
Atlantic operates power-intensive facilities for bitcoin mining in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Ohio, running 98MW of utility-approved capacity, with 51MW in operation and 47MW under development. In its latest fiscal year, the company reported $28.6 million in revenue and $4.4 million in EBITDA, having mined 303 bitcoin at a hash rate of 1.9 EH/s.
Atlantic aims to expand beyond mining into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, with a development pipeline of 121MW across six sites. The company plans to offer a leasing model where tenants supply their own cooling, servers, and GPUs while Atlantic provides the powered shell.
