Atsuko Sato Denies Connection to New Altcoin Project

Atsuko Sato, owner of Kabosu, the Shiba Inu dog that inspired Dogecoin, has spoken out against a newly emerged altcoin. He claims to have no connection with the CATE token project and states that his Instagram post was used without permission.

Sato says fake tokens were launched using this content, falsely portraying him as associated with it. He regrets that some high-profile accounts on X contributed to spreading these posts.

The owner of Kabosu clarified that Own The Doge is the only project he has officially authorized to manage intellectual property rights. They acquired the iconic Doge NFT in 2021 and launched the DOG token, also launching the COCORO token on the Base network in 2025.
