August Crypto Token Unlocks: Cronos Leads With $64M Unlock
Crypto token unlocks in August 2026 will bring new supply to five prominent tokens: Berachain (BERA), MYX Finance (MYX), Cronos (CRO), Manta Network (MANTA), and LayerZero (ZRO). The largest unlock value belongs to Cronos, with $63.97 million in CRO released on August 17.
Each token uses a linear unlock model, releasing tokens in small batches monthly rather than one large cliff event. Berachain and MYX Finance have already seen significant price declines ahead of their unlocks on August 6.
The allocation structure for each token varies. Berachain's private investors hold the largest share, while Cronos' entire remaining locked supply sits under Treasury allocation. LayerZero's community holds the largest allocation at 38.30%.
