About 54.5% of Australian Claude usage falls into what Anthropic categorizes as 'augmentation', meaning users work alongside the AI rather than delegating tasks entirely - above the global average of 51.4%. The adoption story within Australia is far from uniform, with New South Wales generating 37% of all Australian Claude traffic and Victoria close behind at 31%.
