Autonomous Robots Get Zero-Knowledge Proof Identity Verification
Autonomous robots can now confirm they are interacting with real humans without collecting personal data thanks to an integration between PeaqOS and World ID.
The system uses zero-knowledge technology, allowing a person to verify they are human while keeping their identity private.
This is particularly useful for delivery robots and shared machines that interact directly with people. Instead of relying on PINs, pickup codes, or identity documents, these machines can request and validate World ID proofs natively through PeaqOS.
The zero-knowledge proof ensures that the machine only receives a cryptographic confirmation that the user is human, without exposing underlying identity data.
