Autonomous Safety Firm Fort Robotics Pursues Nasdaq Listing
Fort Robotics is planning to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol FROB through a merger with Newbury Street II Acquisition Corp. The deal values the combined company at approximately $500 million.
The company, founded in 2018 by Samuel Reeves, builds wireless emergency stops, vehicle safety controllers, and a software platform called FORT Manager. Its products carry SIL 3 certification, a rigorous industrial safety standard that covers the most demanding risk environments.
Fort has raised $60.5 million in total venture funding before this public market push. The company holds more than 25 patents and has deployed devices across more than 600 customers, including Fortune 500 companies operating in manufacturing, logistics, and agriculture.
