Avalanche Financial Assets Soar Past $3 Billion Amid Record Transactions
Avalanche's native token AVAX reclaimed $7 after several failed attempts this month. This price milestone coincided with financial assets on the network surpassing $3 billion.
The increase in financial assets, including securities and institutional credit products, was driven by growing tokenization activity. Japan contributed significantly to this growth, with Progmat's migration of $1.2 billion in tokenized securities onto Avalanche in June.
Other platforms such as OpenTrade and Grove Finance also expanded their positions on the network. Securitize is developing a European platform that will use Avalanche for trading and settling tokenized securities, covering all 27 EU countries.
Avalanche's C-Chain processed a record 235.6 million transactions in Q2 2026, marking the seventh consecutive quarter of transaction growth. Stablecoin transfer volume reached $84.4 billion, while decentralized exchange volume totaled $8.7 billion.
