Avalanche Integrates with Cashlink's Security Token Infrastructure
Cashlink, a Germany-based fintech company licensed by BaFin for crypto securities registration and custody, has partnered with Ava Labs to integrate the Avalanche blockchain into its security token infrastructure. This move will provide German financial institutions with additional options for issuing and managing tokenized securities.
The partnership reflects the growing trend among traditional finance in Germany to explore blockchain-based solutions for securities issuance. Cashlink's existing platform supports the issuance and custody of crypto securities under German law, and integrating Avalanche is expected to broaden the range of blockchain protocols available to its clients.
Cashlink's BaFin license covers crypto securities registration and custody, a key differentiator in the market. By adding Avalanche to its roster, Cashlink aims to provide flexibility for institutions that may prefer Avalanche's subnet architecture or its consensus mechanism, designed for high throughput and scalability.
