Avalanche Joins Cashlink's Regulated Securities Infrastructure
Cashlink Technologies GmbH has partnered with Ava Labs to integrate the Avalanche blockchain into its regulated securities infrastructure. This move expands the options available to some of Germany's prominent financial institutions and brings the total transaction volume processed by Cashlink to over €1 billion across more than 300 live issuances.
The partnership adds Avalanche to a platform that has already partnered with Polygon and taken a strategic stake in Stellar. CEO Michael Duttlinger pointed out that Avalanche's grasp of regulated financial markets made it an attractive choice for integration. The multi-chain strategy being pursued by Cashlink is centered around providing secure infrastructure, allowing clients to pick their preferred network without having to change platforms.
The €1 billion transaction volume milestone demonstrates the practical implementation of Germany's Electronic Securities Act, which created the legal basis for crypto securities to exist without paper certificates. BaFin-licensed custodians like Cashlink are the backbone of this framework, and the integration with Avalanche is seen as a key step forward in regulated institutional tokenization.
