Avalanche Leads Crypto Selloff as Ethereum Defies Trend

Crypto markets ended the day on a sour note, with most major assets posting losses. The biggest decliner was Avalanche, which plummeted 5.84% to $6.37.

Bitcoin also fell, shedding 1.00% to reach $63,665.55, while Solana and XRP declined by 1.97% and 2.05%, respectively. Even Dogecoin got in on the action, losing 2.83% to settle at $0.07.

However, Ethereum bucked the trend and rose 1.04% to $1,892.70. This divergence between Ethereum's modest gains and the heavy losses elsewhere suggests selective positioning among traders rather than a wholesale market rotation.
