Avalanche Platform Aims to Simplify Loan Securitization for US Community Banks

Community banks in the US are often stuck between generating significant loan volumes and accessing the capital markets that would help them manage risk. A new platform, Digital Liquidity Gateway, built on Avalanche's blockchain aims to change this dynamic.

The gateway was launched by FIS Global and Intain Markets on November 11, 2025, as a marketplace for regional banks to tokenize individual loans, verify them through AI, and sell them directly to institutional investors. The platform uses AvaCloud infrastructure backed by Avalanche's Layer-1 blockchain with over 2,000 US community banks in mind.

Lenders will mint non-fungible tokens tied to loan documentation, which are then verified using artificial intelligence. This creates a transparent record of each loan's history and collateral status. By automating settlement processes, the platform aims to reduce timelines and operational costs associated with traditional securitization.
