Avalanche-Powered KRW1 Stablecoin Expands Global Reach via Rain Partnership

KRW1, Korea's first won-backed stablecoin, has taken a significant step into global payments by partnering with Rain, a stablecoin payments provider. This integration will enable businesses to accept cards issued in won that can be used at over 175 million Visa merchant outlets worldwide.

The partnership aims to bridge the gap between Korean merchants and global customers who use the won as their primary currency. With KRW1's entry into global payments, businesses in Korea can now easily accept won-denominated transactions from international clients.
