Avalanche Surpasses $3 Billion in Tokenized Real-World Assets
Avalanche's tokenized real-world asset value has surpassed $3 billion, marking another significant milestone for the network in its pursuit of becoming infrastructure for regulated and institutional finance.
The figure includes major contributions from Progmat's $1.2 billion securities migration, as well as OpenTrade at approximately $190 million and Grove Finance at roughly $260 million.
This milestone is not a reflection of new assets appearing on Avalanche in one day, but rather the network's RWA footprint has reached a larger aggregate milestone due to several tokenized asset deployments and migrations.
Avalanche's emphasis on subnets, custom environments, and institutional blockchain deployments aligns with RWA adoption requirements for regulated assets, which often necessitate more control than open retail DeFi markets.
