Avalanche Team1 Backs Tokenized Trading Card Platform YourGrails with $30,000 Accelerator Grant
Avalanche Team1's Accelerator tier has awarded its first grant to YourGrails, a tokenized trading card platform. The $30,000 grant will help the project bring real, graded cards onchain to Avalanche.
YourGrails allows users to buy digital packs containing physical cards with PSA, CGC or BGS grades. The platform uses Card Tokens as stand-ins for ownership, eliminating the need for physical movement when changing hands. Owners can stake their cards in battles, sell them back instantly for 90% of their value, or have them shipped to their door.
The project has already gained traction, with over 7,000 packs opened and $500,000 in volume during its closed beta. Team1's blog highlighted the platform as a prime example of what's possible on Avalanche.
Team1's Accelerator tier requires projects to submit a whitepaper or litepaper, prototype, and market analysis for review. The committee, comprised of Avalanche team members and community representatives, votes on funding decisions.
