Avalanche Token Price Breaks Through $7 as Financial Assets Surpass $3 Billion
Avalanche's token price has broken through the $7 barrier, reaching a new high after months of struggling to clear this level. The move comes as the platform continues to attract traditional financial assets, with its combined value exceeding $3 billion.
The significant growth is attributed to various platforms that have integrated Avalanche, including Progmat from Japan, which brought in over $1.2 billion in tokenized securities when it moved to a dedicated network in June. Other notable contributors include OpenTrade and Grove Finance, with assets increasing to $190 million and $260 million respectively.
The growth of financial assets on Avalanche is not limited to these platforms, as Securitize works on launching a European platform that would utilize the blockchain for trading and settling tokenized securities across 27 EU countries. The figures are substantial, with various types of securities, credit, and other financial assets represented, giving Avalanche a prominent role in the push to bring traditional finance onto blockchains.
It's worth noting that Delphi Consulting produced the report through a paid engagement with Avalanche, but their payment was not tied to the findings. The information used in the study came from Avalanche itself, adding context to the report.
