Avalanche's Downtrend Intact Amid Potential Adoption Boost
Avalanche (AVAX) has been experiencing a downtrend since its high of $35.23 on September 19, 2025. After a year-long decline, the price is currently sitting at $6.29, which is 82.1% below its peak.
According to analysis, the current price lies between two significant levels: the twelve-month low of $5.90 and the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $9.62. The 50-day EMA at $6.71 serves as a closer reference point.
The market capitalization of AVAX is $2.72 billion, which prices it as an also-ran among other crypto assets. However, proponents argue that the subnet architecture has potential and could increase adoption, making the current valuation low compared to its technical position.
While the price structure shows a defined invalidation level at $5.90 dollars below the entry point, the discount of 82.1% from its high suggests most of the disappointment is already priced in. A return to the 200-day EMA would deliver around 53% without a new bull market.
