AveraDAO Launches DAO-Powered Protocol for Transparent Cryptocurrency Recovery
AveraDAO, a decentralized recovery protocol, has launched to help government agencies and authorized recovery programs return cryptocurrency recovered from fraud and financial crimes to verified victims. The platform combines blockchain technology, victim verification, and transparent governance to address the challenge of ensuring that recovered funds can be properly identified, tracked, and distributed.
AveraDAO's mission is 'Driven by Truth. Returning What's Yours,' and it aims to provide a structured digital framework for cryptocurrency restitution. The protocol uses on-chain Proof-of-Loss tokens (RFND) to represent verified losses, which are then used to facilitate the distribution of recovered funds.
The recovery process involves six steps: establishing a reliable claimant list, verifying eligible victims, administering the recovery program, distributing recovered funds, and ultimately closing the program. AveraDAO's Recovery Program Tracker provides visibility into active programs and recovery milestones, while victim and recovery statistics give a broader view of program activity.
