Aviva Investors Debuts Tokenized USD Liquidity Fund on XRP Ledger

Aviva Investors has launched its first tokenized fund in partnership with Ripple. The asset manager's USD Liquidity Fund is now available on the XRP Ledger as a tokenized share class, following an earlier partnership with Ripple to advance tokenization.

This marks Aviva Investors' entry into the world of tokenized funds and comes after the company received approval from the Central Bank of Ireland for the launch. The new fund targets low-risk returns and daily liquidity by offering exposure to high-grade US dollar-denominated short-term debt instruments.

The tokenized share class will be available to eligible investors with digital wallets, and BNY Mellon will hold the assets as custodian. Aviva Investors designed the structure to operate within existing regulatory frameworks, providing a foundation for future innovation in fund distribution and market infrastructure.
