B HODL Plc Boosts Bitcoin Per Share Metrics with £32,569 Buyback
B HODL Plc has made another move to boost its Bitcoin per share metrics by repurchasing approximately 618,000 of its own shares for £32,569. This latest tranche is part of a broader buyback program authorized on July 9, which allows the company to spend up to £100,000 in total. The goal behind this strategy is to reduce the number of outstanding shares and increase the book value per share.
When a Bitcoin treasury company trades below its net asset value, buying back shares can effectively acquire Bitcoin exposure at a cheaper rate than purchasing BTC on the open market. According to B HODL's analysis, this equity retirement strategy achieves approximately 24% more satoshis per share compared to direct Bitcoin purchases.
The company currently holds around £8 million worth of Bitcoin in its treasury, valued at approximately 166 BTC as of July 2026. By retiring shares instead of accumulating more Bitcoin, B HODL increases the satoshis per share for every investor who holds on.
