However, this hype was short-lived as the token's price continued to fall. At the time of writing, $LAPTOP's fully diluted value stands at just $1.9 billion. Trading volume is averaging between $20,000 and $30,000 per minute, with the price now sitting at around $2.
Several analysts have reported spotting snipers, bots that carry out super fast trades, exploiting the launch of $LAPTOP. Crypto analyst Dethective claims one such sniper made around $190,000, while Donaxbt reports another making $335,000. Others have reportedly earned over $60,000.
Market maker Wintermute has already sold $2 million worth of $LAPTOP it received from the token's team, according to Lookonchain.
