XRP Price Prediction Sparks Skepticism Amid Falling Inflows
CryptoBull, an analyst with over 1 million followers on X, predicted that XRP will hit $27 by October 2026. This prediction is based on a chart of XRP's weekly price action since 2024, which shows two parallel lines with the middle line at $7 and the upper line at $27.
CryptoBull believes that XRP has only touched the lower band three times in its history, including once in February 2017 when it fell to $0.0050 and then rose to $3.31 within a year, gaining over 66,000%. The analyst also pointed out that the Stochastic RSI at the bottom of the chart has turned up from the low 40s.
However, there are several concerns with this prediction. Firstly, XRP's price has been falling while other major coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana have held up. Additionally, XRP ETF inflows have shrunk every month since May, from $131.94 million to $27.29 million in July.
Moreover, traders don't seem to be pricing in any big moves, with the contract for XRP falling below $1 at some point in 2026 trading at 75% on Robinhood's prediction markets. CryptoBull's forecasts have also been changing frequently, making it difficult to take his predictions seriously.
