Baker & Hostetler is doubling down on its digital assets expertise by launching a new team dedicated to handling cryptocurrency disputes. The firm has assembled a team of 25 attorneys who will focus on litigation and arbitration involving crypto assets, blockchain technology, and emerging digital markets.
The team's leader is Joanna Wasick, a seasoned New York-based litigator with experience in digital assets dating back to 2014. She began advising clients on securities law issues arising from Bitcoin transactions during that time.
