Banco do Brasil has completed a 5 million dollar digital native structured note transaction, marking the first of its kind in Latin America.
The transaction was executed through the Euroclear digital financial market infrastructure platform and was issued by Citi. Banco do Brasil invested in the notes using its own funds.

Roksolana Dushynska, Global Markets Issuance Structured Products Manager at Citi, stated that distributed ledger technology can improve capital market efficiency, transparency, and investor access.
