Bank of Montreal Discloses Small XRP Holdings Through Regulated ETFs
Bank of Montreal (BMO) has disclosed its holdings in two XRP-linked exchange-traded funds (ETFs), according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing.
The Canadian bank reported holding 323 shares of the REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) and 20 shares of the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP) in its $303 billion portfolio at the end of June 2026.
These positions provide exposure to XRP through regulated investment products, giving BMO access to XRP-related assets without directly holding the underlying token.
The REX-Osprey fund offers direct exposure to XRP, while the ProShares Ultra XRP is a leveraged product designed to provide amplified daily exposure to XRP's performance.
