Banks' Crypto Fees: Commission, Spread, and No Transparency
Crypto purchases through Sparkasse and Volksbank come with a commission of up to 1.5 percent, plus an unquantified spread.
The Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Wuerzburg charges a 1.5 percent commission per purchase and sale, according to its schedule of prices and services for crypto asset trading.
The Sparkassen will charge a flat order fee of 99 cents per trading order, starting in mid-October, plus the same unquantified spread.
The banks' product pages do not name the price, only mentioning that a commission applies, plus a spread.
