FC Barcelona's mobile telecom service, Barça Mobile, is working on an in-app digital wallet feature powered by Wirex, Crossmint, and Stellar. The wallet will integrate payment and card infrastructure from Wirex, user-onboarding technology from Crossmint, and the Stellar blockchain as its network layer.

New Era Visionary Group, which operates Barça Mobile, announced partnerships with these companies on August 5th. The digital wallet will be an integrated feature of the existing app, bringing connectivity, payments, loyalty benefits, and travel services into one interface.

According to New Era's CEO, Ruslan Bîrlădeanu, 'By integrating wallet functionality directly into the Barça Mobile app, we are not launching a separate product or a new line of business.'
