Abra CEO Bill Barhydt believes Bitcoin's price will reach $85,000 before a dip, followed by a gradual climb to $100,000 to $110,000. He also expects altcoins to outperform once Bitcoin moves beyond its initial leverage-driven phase.

In an interview with Scott Melker, Barhydt pointed to supportive financial conditions, including U.S. Treasury efforts to support the long end of the bond market and a weaker dollar. He sees these signs as indicators that risk assets are becoming more attractive.

Barhydt's longer-term thesis goes beyond Bitcoin price action. He believes that stablecoins may initially dominate machine payments, but Bitcoin could eventually emerge as the preferred reserve collateral underneath those transactions.
