Base Dives Deeper into AI Innovation with $1M Accelerator for Ten Teams
Coinbase's Base layer-2 network is doubling down on AI innovation with its latest startup accelerator, which will give ten selected teams $100,000 each to build products using stablecoins and real-time programmable payments.
The program, called Batches 004, targets pre-seed startups working on trading, payments, financing, and AI agents. Base is seeking founders with fintech backgrounds who can bring new financial products to its network.
'Blockchains are the native financial rails for AI,' said Daniel Bronheim, Base Ecosystem Fund Lead. 'Agents will soon drive much, much more onchain activity than humans do.'
The selected teams will participate in an eight-week virtual program with a dedicated advisor and weekly support. They'll also receive help building visibility across the Base ecosystem and present to investors at a Demo Day in New York in November.
