Base Launches Creator Grant Program with Up to $4,000 for Ecosystem Content Creators

Base, an Ethereum layer 2 network, has launched a Creator Grant Program that offers up to $4,000 to independent creators who produce content about its ecosystem and builders.

The program is open to writers, streamers, live show hosts, video creators, and educators producing Base-related content in their own languages. Selected creators can receive grants of up to $4,000, as well as access to Base builders and potential coverage through the network's regional accounts.

The new initiative follows Base's move away from its earlier Creator Rewards and content coin strategy, which failed to produce the desired results. The program uses a different funding structure, with direct grants for producing content, rather than tradable creator tokens or engagement-based token rewards.
