BCSC Accuses Former Resident of $4.6 Million Crypto Fraud

A former Comox Valley resident and business owner has been accused of $4.6 million in cryptocurrency fraud by the BC Securities Commission (BCSC).

The BCSC alleges that Connor Sinclair Gardiner-Ingram convinced dozens to invest in cryptocurrency trading bots, promising they would receive profits after a specific time period.

Gardiner-Ingram used the money for luxury goods, jewelry, vehicles, unrelated travel, and family expenses instead of investing it in trading bots as promised.

The BCSC notice also states that Gardiner-Ingram made false statements to investigators while under oath.
