Bear Market Finds: Projects That Are Still Making Money
The cryptocurrency market has been sluggish this year, making it challenging for investors to predict which projects will surge in value. However, instead of chasing hot topics or meme coins that may quickly drop in price, some experts recommend focusing on established projects with stable revenue streams.
According to data from Tokenomist and DefiLlama, two such projects are Pump.fun and Hyperliquid. Pump.fun has generated over $256 million in revenue since January, primarily through transaction fees from its token creation and trading platform. Despite a general downward trend, the project's revenue peaked at the beginning of the year and has recently surpassed $40 million.
Hyperliquid, on the other hand, has earned more than Pump.fun with a cumulative revenue of approximately $352 million in the first seven months of the year. The project's revenue comes from perpetual contract and spot trading fees, which are used to buy back and burn its native token, HYPE.
Uniswap, another established player, has also seen an increase in revenue with $5.6 million generated in the past 30 days. Chainlink, known for its infrastructure-oriented business, continues to generate a stable income of around $4.57 million per month.
