Bear Market Winners: Projects Generating Revenue Amid Sluggish Crypto Markets
As the crypto market remains sluggish, investors are increasingly looking for reliable projects to dollar-cost average through the bear market. Rather than chasing the next '100x coin', it's more realistic to focus on platforms that continue to generate revenue, even in a down market.
According to data from Tokenomist and DefiLlama, several projects stand out as consistently profitable, despite the ongoing slump. Pump.fun, for example, generated $41.53 million in revenue over the past 30 days, making it the most profitable crypto-native project during this period. With monthly revenues ranging from $32.4 million to $51 million since January, Pump.fun has proven itself a 'cash flow machine' in Web3.
Another notable example is Hyperliquid, which took the crown with cumulative revenue exceeding even Pump.fun's. With a steady stream of revenue since January, totaling approximately $352 million, Hyperliquid demonstrates its ability to sustain profitability even during low trading activity periods.
Uniswap, the DEX leader, has also seen a significant increase in revenue, with $5.6 million generated over the past 30 days. While still trailing platforms like Pump.fun and Hyperliquid, Uniswap's earning power has returned to the top tier within the DEX sector.
Lastly, Chainlink continues to operate as an 'infrastructure-oriented business', generating $4.57 million in revenue over the past 30 days without relying on Meme hype or derivatives trading volume.
