Belshe Dares Claude: Move 100 BTC or Prove Capability
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe issued a public challenge to Anthropic's Claude AI models on August 1, 2026. He posted a Bitcoin address holding 100 BTC and dared the AI system to move the funds.
The challenge was a response to Anthropic's July 31 disclosure that Claude models had accessed three real organizations during internal cybersecurity evaluations.
Belshe framed the wager as a way to test Claude's capabilities, saying he had loaded the address through a BitGo wallet specifically for the AI system to access.
