Bengaluru Doctor Falls Victim to Elaborate Crypto Scam

A 50-year-old doctor in Bengaluru fell victim to an elaborate cryptocurrency scam after being approached on WhatsApp by two individuals who posed as trading experts.

The scammers, identified as Ayushi Sharma and Vijay Anant, convinced the doctor to invest through a bogus trading platform called 'CoinTrs.com', promising high returns of over Rs 14 crore.

Initially, the doctor made a small investment but was convinced to invest larger amounts after seeing fake profits displayed in his account.

However, when he attempted to withdraw the money, the scammers demanded additional payments, exposing the scam.
