Bernstein Boosts Airbnb Price Target to $217 Amid Strong Growth
Bernstein SocGen Group analyst Richard Clarke upgraded Airbnb's (ABNB) price target to $217, up from $168, while maintaining an Outperform rating. This boost reflects a 'clear inflection point' for the platform in its Q2 2026 performance.
Night growth surged to 10% in Q2 2025, with company leadership forecasting this pace for a fifth consecutive quarter. Second-quarter revenue and adjusted EBITDA surpassed expectations by 0.8% and 2.7%, respectively. The third-quarter revenue forecast of $4.73 billion exceeded Wall Street projections by 2.7%.
Clarke anticipates Airbnb will deliver approximately 20% annual earnings per share growth, driven by consistent double-digit revenue increases and incremental margin improvements. The analyst also highlighted potential revenue opportunities from features such as artificial intelligence-enhanced search capabilities, dynamic pricing mechanisms, customer loyalty initiatives, and sponsored listing placements.
