Bernstein Sees $140 Price Target for Circle Amid Growing Stablecoin Adoption

Circle (NYSE:CRCL) stock may hit $140 in value, according to analysts at Bernstein. This prediction is based on the company's growth cycle, which they believe will continue regardless of whether or not the CLARITY Act passes.

The CLARITY Act aims to clarify regulations surrounding stablecoins, but Bernstein believes that Circle's progress is independent of this legislation. The firm points out that several trends are driving growth in the stablecoin market, including a macro regime shift favoring hard assets and stablecoins, growing adoption of stablecoin payments, real-world blockchain capital markets, and agentic AI payments settling in USDC.

Circle's Agent Stack platform already hosts over 900 paid services, with 99% of agent-payment volume settling in USDC. The company controls around 80% of decentralized exchange volumes, and its stablecoin supply has added $1.7 billion in the past week alone.
