Bernstein Sees Bitcoin Reaching $150K by Mid-2027 on Institutional Demand
Wall Street research firm Bernstein has released a bullish forecast for Bitcoin (BTC), predicting it could reach $150,000 by mid-2027 and approximately $300,000 at the next cycle peak in 2029. The firm's base case assumes that rising institutional ownership and resilient Bitcoin ETF demand during corrections will drive up prices.
The post-halving four-year cycle is also seen as a key driver of price growth, according to Bernstein. This cycle has historically led to significant increases in the value of BTC. Additionally, the firm points to an emerging 'debasement trade' as supporting its long-term bullish outlook for Bitcoin.
The forecast comes after a correction in the market, and some may wonder why Bernstein still sees BTC reaching $150K by 2027. According to the research note, the answer lies in the underlying fundamentals driving the price of BTC upwards.
