Bernstein Sees Bitcoin Reaching New Heights in the Next Few Years
Analysts at Bernstein predict that Bitcoin will reach new heights in the coming years. In their base case scenario, they project the digital asset to hit $150,000 by mid-2027 and $300,000 by 2029. However, if institutional capital flows into Bitcoin at an accelerated pace, the firm's optimistic scenario suggests that it could climb to $500,000 by 2029 and touch $1 million by 2033.
The bullish forecast is underpinned by growing sovereign debt levels and currency devaluation concerns. Bernstein expects authorities to opt for monetary devaluation rather than implementing strict fiscal discipline, which would enhance appetite for finite assets like Bitcoin.
According to the firm's analysis, approximately 59% of Bitcoin's circulating supply has remained dormant over the trailing twelve months. This, combined with participation from spot ETFs and corporate treasury accumulation, has contributed to a relatively contained decline in price following a 50% drawdown from its October 2025 high.
