Bessent Sees 2030 Bretton Woods Moment for Bitcoin
Scott Bessent, the US Treasury Secretary, has called for another Bretton Woods moment within four years. He specifically mentioned that this reset could happen as early as 2030-2031. This prediction is based on valuation models that project Bitcoin's price to reach $1 million.
The four valuation models used by Bessent are Stock-to-Flow, OMEGA60, Bitcoin24, and Power Law. These models suggest different timeframes for Bitcoin's price increase: May 2028 (Stock-to-Flow), February 2031 (OMEGA60), 2032 (Bitcoin24), and June 2033 (Power Law).
At the current price of $74,111.73, Bitcoin is trading inside its Bollinger Bands with upper resistance at $79,631.53 and lower support at $76,558.56. The EMA50 acts as immediate resistance at $78,447.26, while the EMA200 offers deeper structural support at $74,122.05.
