Bhutan Government Moves 491.212 BTC Amid Decline in Wallet Balances

The Royal Government of Bhutan moved 491.212 BTC out of its holdings on August 19 and 21, 2026, according to on-chain data from Arkham Intelligence.

The largest transfer was 485 BTC worth approximately $32.31 million, sent to one address associated with the government's wallets.

A second transfer of 1.337 BTC, worth around $100,670, went to a separate address, highlighting that the movements involved two destination addresses in total.

This activity anchors a wider run of transfers from the same tagged wallets, which have been declining since October 2024, when they held roughly 13,000 BTC. By May 2026, this number had fallen to about 3,100 BTC.
