Bhutan Partners with 3iQ to Manage Bitcoin Reserves

3iQ Corp., a digital asset investment firm, has partnered with Gelephu Mindfulness City to manage part of its bitcoin reserves. The mandate involves managing funds backed by a portion of GMC's bitcoin treasury.

The partnership comes after Bhutan announced in December 2025 that up to 10,000 bitcoin would be allocated from the country's national holdings to support Gelephu Mindfulness City's development.

3iQ will also establish a presence in Gelephu City, located in southern Bhutan. The firm has a global track record of managing digital assets and has launched bitcoin and ethereum exchange-traded products on stock exchanges.
