Hunter Biden has denied making any money from the LAPTOP memecoin, despite its sharp price swings and allegations of insider activity. In a statement, he claimed that 'nobody on our side sold' and that he personally hasn't made 'a single dollar.'
The LAPTOP memecoin saw a meteoric rise to $222 in minutes after its launch, but quickly plummeted to around $1.80 by Wednesday afternoon, resulting in six-figure losses for investors.
Biden attributed the sharp price decline to limited liquidity and automated 'snipers' who buy tokens as soon as they launch. He also blamed technical issues that caused a spike in price.
