Biden's LAPTOP Meme Coin Targets TRUMP Losers in Airdrop

Hunter Biden is part of the founding team behind a new meme coin called LAPTOP, set to launch on September 9th on the Base network. The coin's name references the laptop saga that dogged Biden during the 2020 campaign. A portion of the supply is reserved for traders who lost money on President Donald Trump's TRUMP coin.

The LAPTOP team has pledged 20% of its one billion supply for two airdrop rounds, targeting individuals who took a loss on TRUMP and subscribers to Biden's Substack account. Nansen data reported that 988,905 wallets, roughly two-thirds of TRUMP buyers, were down $3.81 billion by the end of June.

The team will hold 30% of the supply for six months before releasing it gradually over a two-year period. Another 20% has been set aside for charity, liquidity, exchange partners, and market makers, with part of it covering accounting, legal, and compliance costs.
