Biden's LAPTOP Meme Coin Targets Trump-Losing Investors
Hunter Biden is part of the founding team behind the new meme coin LAPTOP, which will launch on September 9th on the Base network. This project aims to cash in on losses incurred by investors who bought President Donald Trump's TRUMP coin.
The LAPTOP team has reserved 20% of its one billion token supply for two airdrop rounds, benefiting individuals who took a loss on TRUMP and subscribers of Hunter Biden's Substack. A portion of the tokens will also go to charity, liquidity providers, exchange partners, and market makers.
The launch plan includes a unique feature that allows up to 30% of the supply to be destroyed permanently if certain conditions are met, such as Bitcoin reaching an all-time high or a Democratic win in the 2028 presidential election. Tokens tied to unmet conditions will instead go to charity.
