Binance and Coinbase Leave Pi Token Out in the Cold
Pi Network's exchange listing question has been ongoing for years, with Binance and Coinbase still missing from the list. Despite being available on other exchanges like OKX, Gate, MEXC, and Kraken, access to these two major platforms remains uncertain.
The delay is not solely due to community demand, but also involves technical audits, compliance, token distribution, regulatory exposure, and market risks that exchanges must consider before adding a high-profile asset.
Binance held a community vote in February 2025, where 226,000 votes were reportedly cast, with 86.8% supporting a PI listing. However, despite this result, Binance did not proceed and has made no public commitment to list Pi since then.
Coinbase has taken a quieter approach, with no vote or public discussion on a Pi listing, and there is no visible indication that the token has entered its public listing process.
