Binance and OKX Founders Engage in Heated Public Feud Over Decade-Old Dispute

A public feud has erupted between Binance founder Changpeng Zhao and OKX founder Star Xu on social media platform X. The dispute centers around a decade-old contract dispute involving early Bitcoin investor Roger Ver.

Xu claims that Zhao misrepresented events from his time at OKCoin, the predecessor to OKX, in his recently published memoir. He pointed to a video showing conflicting contract versions from 2015 and accused Zhao of being a 'habitual liar' who 'never changes'.

Zhao responded by denying the allegations and claiming that Xu had made them out of the blue. The dispute escalated when Xu questioned whether Zhao's marital status was misrepresented in court documents, with Zhao offering a $1 billion wager to settle the matter.
