The Binance Android app has disappeared from the Google Play Store in several European Union member states, sparking concerns about the crypto exchange's regulatory standing under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.

The disappearance appears to be geographically fragmented rather than a blanket EU-wide ban, leaving users and market observers questioning whether the delisting is due to licensing issues or a technical adjustment.

A user in Spain confirmed that searching for the Binance app on Google Play yielded no results, but the application remained accessible through Oppo's App Market. In contrast, checks conducted in Poland showed that the Binance app was still available for download on Google Play.

The initial reports of the app's disappearance began circulating last week after Erald Ghoos, CEO of OKX Europe, claimed on social media platform X that Google Play had removed the Binance app due to MiCA licensing requirements. Neither Binance nor Google have publicly confirmed this explanation.
