Binance Axes Trading for 16 Crypto Platforms Amid EU Sanctions
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has made a critical decision to suspend trading with certain crypto asset service providers and platforms. This move comes after recent regulatory developments, specifically the EU's 21st sanctions package adopted on July 23, 2026.
The affected platforms include Rapira, Aifory Pro, ABCeX, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto, Tradex, Monease, BitPapa, Exnode, HTX (Huobi Global SA), EXMO Ltd, Shelbit, Aban Tether Exchange, A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa, and PilotFinance Ltd.
Binance has stated that it will not process transactions with these platforms due to regulatory concerns. The restrictions started earlier for some platforms, including Shelbit and Aban Tether Exchange on August 7th, and A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa, and PilotFinance Ltd on August 13th.
The exchange warned users that transactions attempted with these platforms after the specified dates may be subject to compliance review. The associated cryptocurrency wallets may also be subject to additional restrictions.
